HR & Office Manager
Most of my colleagues at Lumina, in their professions, have been looking after customers. My role at Lumina is to look after our best asset – the people! So I help the business reach its full potential by looking after our team members and their “second home” – the surrounding office environment. I aim to deliver Great Service through Great People doing Great Things! And I do that by proactively working with managers to find practical solutions to employment matters. I also hold a strong desire for knowledge and continuing development to ensure consistent business performance and the growth of a motivated team. The areas of expertise most relevant to my role are UK employment law, employment relations, resourcing and talent management; however, I have the experience managing all elements of the employee lifecycle.
I have a very strong scientific education background where analytical skills and excellent attention to detail were fundamental factors. These have become very useful abilities and inseparable elements of my role. Beside science, I am very much a people-focused human resources generalist. I initially started my professional career as an administrator and advanced my role through office management to become a fully comprehensive human resources manager. I have worked in the IT industry for nearly 11 years and I gained my experiences mostly in a commercial environment or one of the multinational computer companies.
